These artists and galleries are using Artist Advocate successfully:
I consider my ad in your magazine a HUGE success. I heard from a gallery in Rye, NY, before the magazine even hit the stands. They had seen it online. I have just sent my second painting up to them. Very nice people, and I've heard good things about the gallery.
Just now I got another query from a gallery in Ventura, CA, about my water subject matter -- both paintings and photography. I'm very happy about that. What a good job you do! I was especially impressed in the first place by hearing almost immediately from a gallery in a place that would seem to be optimum for my kind of work -- and they say so, too.

Having designed and placed my own ads for the past 10 years, I was pleasantly surprised to find that all I had to do was provide appropriately sized digital photos and copy. The entire layout is done in-house. This makes for a smart, crisp periodical that showcases the artwork, and not fonts and background colors. When I first became aware of Artist Advocate magazine, I was a bit skeptical about spending my hard-earned money on such advertising, so I contacted some of the artists who were advertising themselves in the magazine's pages. Being a representational artist, I only focused on artists who work in the same vein. I picked up a new gallery with my first ad in Artist Advocate. The second I wanted to let you know that I have had an inquiry from a gallery in Carmel from my ad within a few
days of the Artist Advocate Magazine Spring issue release! A few days
later, I had two more calls, then another and an e-mail inquiry. I am so excited.
I never expected to have feedback so quickly. I will have to be turning away galleries. Imagine that!
As a result of my ad, I was contacted by two galleries asking if I would be interested in representation. At a time when gallery owners are inundated with portfolios, I considered this a good response and one of the best uses of my advertising dollars. I am presently building a relationship with a new gallery and look forward to more exposure from my next Artist Advocate magazine advertisement.

I was pleasantly surprised by the people I was able to reach by phone. Those who had placed ads in the magazine for two, three, and four issues were unanimous in their encouragement. All of them had positive things to say about the results they received through their ads. Only one person was less than enthusiastic, and he confessed that he had only run one ad in one issue of the magazine.
I am excited about the results I hope to achieve by running the ads I have committed to.

ad yielded another new gallery, a featured show, and a $20K commission. I
can't wait to see what happens with the third ad!

My ad in Artist Advocate had not been out more than a couple of days when I heard from a gallery and was invited into a show! I also heard from another and was asked to submit my portfolio. That's what I call results. Artist Advocate is helping further my career, and I am planning on a continued presence in this publication. It has helped me market my work to art dealers in an economical and very effective way. Annell Metzger Gloria Clifford Jerry Malzahn Lori Putnam Tamara Rymer

We were so pleased to receive a copy of the new Artist Advocate magazine. The large ads and clean design made it easy for us to review the artists presented in the issue. We found the division of contemporary and traditional art unique with two front covers. We plan on using Artist Advocate as a resource in discovering new talent for the gallery.

I was intrigued by the new magazine Artist Advocate and decided to present my work in the first issue. Shortly after Artist Advocate came out, I received a call from a prominent northeast gallery requesting more information about my art. After a positive exchange, the gallery director offered to represent me, and I accepted. I am delighted with the response I received from advertising in Artist Advocate magazine.

Artist Advocate is top notch. I consider these folks to be true professionals within their industry. The publication surpassed my expectations both in terms of quality, and the opportunity for artists to use marketing techniques through their Internet contacts! This publication is a phenomenal way to help artists in this country.
By showing a representation of your art to gallery owners through this publication, the gallery is in now charge of contacting the artist, not the other way around. Putting my art before galleries through this publication will save time, money, and tremendous energy. I am extremely grateful for this new publication. I'd rather spend my time and energy working on new paintings!

I was pleased to receive a call from a prominent Midwest gallery director after he saw my work on the cover of Artist Advocate. He has expressed interest in my paintings, and we are discussing a mutually rewarding relationship. I have also received encouraging calls from other dealers. It has been a positive and effective experience for me to advertise in Artist Advocate. I'm looking forward to presenting my work with them again soon.

As a result of my ad in Artist Advocate, I have received several inquiries from galleries interested in my work. The magazine has been out only a short time, but I am anticipating even more response. After painting 7 or 8 hours a day, then marketing another 3 hours every evening, I have felt frustrated and exhausted. I now have Artist Advocate to help me market my work. The advertising dollar investment with Artist Advocate seems small compared to hiring a marketing assistant! This is the sort of thing that artists have needed for a long time.

I received information on the new magazine Artist Advocate and decided to explore this opportunity by advertising in the first issue. Due to the Artist Advocate ad, I was contacted by a large publishing house. They specifically told me they had seen my ad. I have had exposure in several different magazines this year, with response usually coming from potential buyers. Artist Advocate brought a different kind of response. I am now anticipating increased sales due to the publishing of my original paintings.
